Weekend Workshops for Physiotherapists:
FASCIAWORK
Since 2020, I have been teaching in-person workshops to physiotherapists, including theoretical background and practical hands-on advanced manual therapy and rehabilitation techniques.
The following are currently available:

FasciaWork: Revolutionizing the Quality of our Touch
This 4-hour introductory lecture summarizes how a fascial approach changes the quality, impact and effectiveness of our manual therapy techniques. It gives a holistic overview of how fascia and the nervous system react to our touch, and how we can improve the way we touch our patients when we understand these concepts.
FasciaWork for the Upper Limb
This 15-hour weekend workshop teaches a wide range of unique practical techniques and the theoretical foundation of fascial connections in the neck, shoulder, upper arm, forearm, wrist and hand and includes case study discussions and practical time.
FasciaWork for the Lower Limb
This 15-hour weekend workshop teaches a wide range of unique practical techniques and the theoretical foundation of fascial connections in the pelvis, hip, thigh, knee, lower leg, ankle and foot, and includes case study discussions and practical time.
FasciaWork for the Spine
This 15-hour weekend workshop teaches a wide range of unique practical techniques and the theoretical foundation of fascial connections all around the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, and includes case study discussions and practical time. More detail about the cervical spine is covered in the Head, Neck & Face course.
FasciaWork: Spinal & Abdominal
This 15-hour weekend workshop teaches a wide range of unique practical techniques and the theoretical foundation of fascial connections all around the spine, as well as abdominal myofascial areas, and includes case study discussions and practical time. More detail about the cervical spine is covered in the Head, Neck & Face course.
FasciaWork: Head, Neck & Face
This 15-hour weekend workshop teaches a wide range of unique practical techniques and the theoretical foundation of fascial connections in great detail around the head, neck and face, including cranial nerves and their fascial environments and influences. This also includes case study discussions and practical time.
Post-Surgical FasciaWork in the Spine & Lower Limb
This 15-hour weekend workshop focuses on the fascial considerations in post-surgical manual therapy in the spine and lower limb, including practical techniques for fascial and scar tissue mobilization and the theoretical background around what happens within the fascial tissue during and after surgery, and why post-surgical manual therapy is essential.
Post-Surgical FasciaWork for Hips and Knees
This 15-hour weekend workshop focuses on the fascial considerations in post-surgical treatment for hips and knees, including practical techniques for fascial and scar tissue mobilization and the theoretical background around what happens within the fascial tissue during and after surgery, especially hip and knee replacements, and why post-surgical manual therapy is essential.
CardioThoracic FasciaWork and Rehabilitation
This 15-hour weekend workshop focuses on the inner and outer fascial structures and connections around the cardiovascular system, respiratory system, thoracic spine and ribcage, discusses the importance of correct breathing for the fascial core, and includes many practical techniques and rehabilitation exercises for improving function in these systems.
FasciaWork for Lumbo-Pelvic Balance
This 15-hour weekend workshop dives deep into the fascial core in the lower half of the body and its influence in foundational stability and function, and includes practical techniques for lower back and pelvic pain and instability. Discussions include the effects of chronic stress and external manual techniques to support pelvic floor function.
FasciaWork for Neurovascular Freedom
This 15-hour weekend workshop focuses on the neurovascular structures in the whole body and the fascial environments they live in, discussing the relationship between fascial health and neurovascular function and includes practical techniques to improve neurovascular function and autonomic function throughout the whole body.
FasciaWork for Sensitive Nervous Systems
This 15-hour weekend workshop dives deep into how the fascial and nervous systems are related, how fascia impacts the autonomic system, and how chronic stress leads to chronic tension patterns and fascial dysfunction. It introduces a novel sensory integration approach to help patients unwind deep-seated core tension and strengthen nervous system balance.
FasciaWork for Scar Tissue
This 12-hour weekend workshop discusses the physiology, sensitivity and responsivity of scar tissue and clears up many misunderstandings about how scar tissue should be treated without causing more damage. This course includes theoretical case study discussions as well as live patient case studies brought by participants and practical demo's with them.
